Can I just tell you how much failed workouts piss me off?
GRRRRRR!!!I was all excited about gettin’ my endorphins flowing yesterday…and I ended up having to cut my workout short again. So sick of being sick! My body was still not gung-ho about getting my sweat on, and about 20 minutes into my cardio sesh, I decided any further strenuous activity was a bad idea.
Damnit!
Did a quick (resentful) cool-down, and called it quits. Then I promptly came upstairs (I was using the ‘rents basement treadmill) to complain to Mi Madre and my couster.
[Um, woopsies. Just realized I didn’t even stretch. I was maaaad.]
Anyway, in roughly an hour’s time (when my stomach has done it’s digestive thang), I’m gonna give it another go…except this time, I’m gonna take it slow and only do what this bod wants to do (and try my hardest not to get pissed at it). I wouldn’t even push it, except that I feel 100% FINE – I’m just sinus-y, which really affects my breathing. UGH!

LunchOh, it was a good one.
Man, I burn the hell out of my bread, don’t I? I like it that way, though. Get if from my poppa.
In there:
- two slices o’cheese
- tomato
- spinach leaves
- avocado
- honey mustard
giant side salad with romaine lettuce, steamed california blend, homemade mustardy dressing, and cottage chez
Dessert
mug of pineapple chunks, strawbs, and chocolate chips
Dinnerwas simple
more steamed california blend + some split pea soup, topped with roasted soy nuts
crackers on the side
canned pumpkin*, cinnamon, chocolate greek yogurt, brazil nuts
*MI MADRE FOUND CANNED PUMPKIN AT THE GROCERY STORE! MY DROUGHT IS TEMPORARILY OVER!
A Camera Happy Breakfast
In ze bowl:
- 1/2 c oats
- 1/4 c almond milk*
- 3/4 c water
- big scoop crunchy PB
- chopped fuji apple
- cinnamon
- cereal and granola toppings
*Per Kath’s recent reminder, I incorporated milk into my oats…but only had 1/4 c left! Wah! Couldn’t notice a difference, but when I restock, I’ll be sure to add more to see if something magical happens. ![]()
